Her video, which was posted on TikTok on October 6, detailed every aspect of her spending in September during her stay in New York and soon went viral.
Viewers were dumbstruck when Mei Leung revealed in her first video her spending, which amounted to $85,452.53 in September. Out of this amount, she spent $8,900 on her mortgage, $2,000 on her pilates lessons, and a stupendous $48,429.53 on parties and other activities. The TikToker has over 90K followers, and her page garnered more than 4 million views.
Mei Leung Spent $21K on a Single Night Party
Mei Leung, in the second video which left social media users stunned, revealed that she spent over $20,000 on one night out in NYC. The breakdown of the bill includes Ace of Rosé, eight packs of water, 1942 Magnum, a pack of Red Bull, and more. Adding some other fees and sales tax, the final bill swells to $21,636. If one adds the expenses for additional tables, the bill could be even higher.
Most netizens were stunned by the casual way in which the TikToker talked about her expenses.

Mei Leung has not revealed her source of income, and this left many viewers speculating about her parents’ wealth. However, many netizens contend that she may have other sources of income and she must be making a decent sum from her social media accounts.

The TikToker’s viral post has also led to a search for Mei Leung’s parents, and many netizens stated that she is related to fashion mogul Vera Wang and her ex-husband and that she was their daughter.

This led to a mad rush to uncover Mei Leung’s parents. No one knows exactly who her parents were, and Vera Wang certainly isn’t her mother.
