Warren Central High School will host the “Viking Football Night of Champions” on. Friday.
A celebration of 60 years of Viking football will take place tomorrow as all players, managers, and coaches from over the years will honored. Members from the two state championship teams will also be in attendance(1994 and 1988). The Vikings also won Little Dixie Championships in 1978, 1979, 1976, and 1973.
Any former player who wishes to be a part of the ceremony can email Matt Williams at mwilliams@vwsd.org. The festivities start at 5:00 pm with registration. It only costs $20 per athlete. The money can be paid at registration. After registration, there will be a dinner provided by Goldie’s and a dessert room provided by WC teachers.
The Championship teams will be honored at halftime of the WC vs. Neshoba Central game.
