A WALMART worker has been mysteriously found dead inside a supermarket, cops have said.
Officers scrambled to the superstore in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Saturday, where they made a chilling find.

The worker has been identified as a woman, 19, and cops reveal the investigation into her cause of death is complex.
Her cause of death remains unknown, but sources told Global News an oven was switched on at the time.
Canadian police nor Walmart have confirmed any details about the oven.
The store has been closed since the woman’s body was found, and it’s not known when it will reopen.
Pictures obtained by Global News show police tape outside the supermarket, and a “We’re closed” sign has been put up in front of the doors.
Cop cars have also been pictured outside the supermarket, and forensic teams have been combing the supermarket for clues.
Officers have revealed the investigation is ongoing.
“The investigation is complex,” Martin Cromwell, a police officer, said.
“We just want to encourage the public to be patient with our investigation and be mindful that there are family members and co-workers involved.”
It has since emerged that the worker had been living in the Nova Scotia area for two to three years, as reported by CTV News.
She was part of the Maritime Sikh Society.
Anmol Preet Singh, who is also part of the Sikh society, said the worker’s death was sad for the community.
Walmart spokesperson Amanda Moss told CTV the company was heartbroken by the worker’s death.
She revealed that counseling services had been opened up to store workers.
The death of the Walmart worker comes weeks after the remains of a Food Lion employee were found inside a freezer at a store in Raleigh, North Carolina.
And an Arby’s manager was found dead in a walk-in freezer at a branch in New Iberia, Louisiana – around 70 miles southwest of Baton Rouge – in May 2023.
The U.S. Sun has approached Walmart Canada for comment.
