GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Minnesota Governor and candidate for Vice President Tim Walz arrived at the Pitt-Greenville Airport Thursday afternoon.
Upon arriving, Walz was met by Kinston Mayor Don Hardy, Greenville Mayor Pro Tem Monica Daniels, Pitt County Commissioner Ann Floyd Huggins and Chair of the Pitt County Democratic Party Molly Holdeman.
Walz spoke to a crowd at the Democratic Party Headquarters on Stantonsburg Road after visiting Durham earlier in the day. Walz is schedule to be in Wilmington later in the night.
