42-year-old Eric Shawn Green and 42-year-old Kendell Kay Armstrong were arrested Monday (October 21) by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Officers. Both suspects are charged with level three trafficking methamphetamine by possession, trafficking fentanyl by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver fentanyl, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of stolen firearm, and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
Following an undercover operation, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division executed a search warrant Monday at an address on Green Street in Lincolnton. During the search, investigators seized one-and-a-half pounds of methamphetamine, 13 grams of fentanyl, and multiple firearms including five handguns, one shotgun, an AR style rifle, and a sawed-off shotgun. Two of the handguns had been reported stolen.
The occupants of the residence, the suspects Green and Armstrong, are both convicted felons. They were arrested and charged then incarcerated in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center. Green was jailed under $505,000 bond, Armstrong received a bond of $515,000. They’re both scheduled to appear in court November 12.
