GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Former President Donald Trump wrapped up his rally in Greenville around 4 p.m. Monday in front of a packed house at Minges Coliseum.
Trump spoke heavily about the economy. He opened his speech by asking the crowd if they were better off now than three years ago. The crowd chanted ‘no.’ With just more two weeks left until Election Day, Trump urged voters to get to the polls.
“Now the fate of our nation is in your hands. North Carolina, you have to stand up and you have to tell Kamala Harris that you’ve had enough. You can’t take it anymore,” he said. “She’s the worst vice president in history. It’s the worst administration in the history of our country. Kamala, you’re fired. Get the hell out of here.”
Trump mentioned some of his economic proposals in the speech. He touted his plan to cut taxes on tips, overtime and social security benefits. Trump also spoke about immigration and securing the Southern border.
