Tom Holland is fuming after going totally unnoticed by fans in New York City

Tom Holland was 'offended' that no fans recognized him as he delivered his new non-alcoholic beer in New York City

Tom Holland is low-key furious that not a single fan recognized him when he delivered his new non-alcoholic beer to New York City this week.

The 28-year-old Spider-Man actor had taken to the streets of Manhattan to transport crates of Bero to customers around the city, but was not approached once during his outing.

Tom was on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday evening and watched footage of his day out with the 50-year-old host, who was happy to point out that the A-lister had gone completely unnoticed.

“We were walking through Grand Central Station and I was so offended,” Tom admitted.

‘I’m Spider-Man! It’s New York City! Come on!’

Seth then argued that people might recognize him, but just assumed it was a doppelgänger.

“It probably was,” Tom agreed.

His new premium non-alcoholic beer brand Bero was launched last week.

Currently, Bero stocks three dynamic styles: Kingston Golden Pils, Edge Hill Hazy IPA and Noon Wheat.

“It’s been a really fun process for me,” Tom told Seth about the product launch, before adding, “It was very intimidating. There’s no secret: I’m quite uneducated.’

“One of the things we really focused on was creating real foam,” Tom continued.

“And the biggest thing for me was the carbonation. I love a good carbonated beer. So for me it was a real pleasure to bring that to a product that I love.”

Tom has spoken out about his journey to sobriety and how he realized he was addicted to alcohol.

Last year, the actor appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast, where he talked about how addicted he was after participating in a Dry January.

“I didn’t wake up one day and say, ‘I’m going to stop drinking.’ “I, like a lot of Brits, had a very, very drunken December, Christmas time, I was on holiday, I drank a lot,” Tom began, adding that he’s “always been able to drink a lot.”

“I decided to just give it up for January, I just wanted to do Dry January, and all I could think about was having a drink,” he continued.

‘It was all I could think about. I woke up and thought about it, I looked at the clock: ‘When is it 12?’ And it just made me really scared,” Holland continued.

“I was like, ‘Wow, maybe I have a bit of an alcohol problem,’ so I decided to just punish myself and say I would do February too, I would take two months off.”

Tom claimed that if he could “take two months off, I could prove to myself that I don’t have a problem.”

Two months had passed, but Tom said he was “still having a really hard time, like I couldn’t be social, I felt like I couldn’t go to the pub and drink lime soda, I couldn’t go out to eat, I was really having a really hard time and I was really worried that I had an alcohol problem.’

But Tom persevered and decided to continue for another three months until his birthday, June 1.

“I told myself, if I can go six months without alcohol, then I can prove to myself that I don’t have a problem,” Tom said.

“By the time I reached June 1, I was the happiest I had ever been in my life.”
