Tom Brady takes sons to Taylor Swift concert before dash to cover Chiefs-49ers – but music icon will miss NFL showdown

TOM Brady took his sons to a Taylor Swift concert – and learned a bit about himself.

The NFL legend watched the music icon at a packed out Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

And he did so with his sons Ben and Jack on a family night out.

Brady posted a set of photos of the trio on Instagram along with a video of Swift in action.

“The gang does Taylor Swift,” Brady said.

And he laughed, “I think I learned I’m a Reputation guy.”

The 47-year-old enjoyed some down time before dashing across the country for his next assignment.

Brady is on the call for Fox alongside Kevin Burkhardt for a Super Bowl rematch Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs visit the San Francisco 49ers in Fox’s big game of the weekend.

And Brady will be in the booth at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California for it.

Swift, meanwhile, will not be making the cross-country trip to cheer on her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The music megastar has another concert at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday night.

The last time the Chiefs played the 49ers in the Super Bowl, her hectic schedule allowed her to make a mad dash.

She finished a concert in Tokyo, Japan on Saturday night and flew halfway round the world to see Kelce win the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Swift has seen all three Chiefs home games this season.

But she has been unable to make it to any of Kansas City’s games on the road – at Atlanta, at the Los Angeles Chargers and now at the San Francisco 49ers.

Swift and Kelce were spotted together at Yankee Stadium in New York this week to watch a Major League Baseball playoff game.

The Tom Brady domino effect

Tom Brady will take his seat in Fox’s top NFL announce team alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

And his arrival at the network has set off a domino effect with every other announcer moving down one spot.

That means Fox’s NFL coverage in 2024 will feature entirely new broadcast pairings.

Greg Olsen, who previously worked alongside Burkhardt, will now be part of the No. 2 announce team with Joe Davis.

The other Fox pairings for 2024 are:

  • Adam Amin-Mark Sanchez
  • Kenny Albert-Jon Vilma
  • Kevin Kugler-Daryl Johnston
  • Chris Myers-Mark Schlereth

Brady, meanwhile, has had a busy week with his Las Vegas Raiders ownership stake confirmed.

NFL owners approved the former quarterback’s bid to buy five per cent of the franchise.

But Brady now faces a number of restrictions which will make his Fox job tougher.

He is not allowed in another team’s facility and not allowed to watch practice.

The 47-year-old also cannot attend production meetings and is now subject to the league’s gambling and anti-tampering policies.
