Tom Brady revealed he would have loved to play for the Detroit Lions on Sunday night

One of the NFL’s best offenses today made Tom Brady want to lace up his cleats and don his helmet under their flag.

Brady was a commentator for Fox on Sunday during the Detroit Lions-Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium. It didn’t take long for the seven-time Super Bowl winner to shock fans with a comment.

Just before halftime, his broadcast partner Kevin Burkhardt asked Brady, “You played big fouls, but how much fun would you have had playing this foul?”

The legendary quarterback then raved about the Detroit offense, saying, “I would love to be the quarterback of this offense, it’s just so much fun.

“When I look at this offense, it reminds me of what a great offense in the NFL should be,” he added.

With the Lions’ recent resurgence, fans took to social media to express their shock at Brady’s comments.

‘I can’t say I had that on my bingo card’ wrote one fan.

‘I never thought I’d hear Tom Brady say he wanted to be the quarterback of the Detroit Lions’ added a second.

“Never in a million years did I ever think I would hear Tom Brady say he would like to play QB in the Detroit Lions offense lol” a third agreed.

The Lions took the NFL by storm yesterday as they made their first playoff appearance since 2016. They breezed past the Rams and the Buccaneers in the first two rounds before losing to the 49ers in the NFC Championship game.

Detroit entered the fourth quarter against the Cowboys with a commanding 40-9 lead as they looked for their third straight win.
