TOM Brady is making massive strides in his new Fox NFL broadcast career, a close New England Patriots ally told The Sun.
The 47-year-old finally made the transition from player to broadcaster this year after a season off to rest.

And he has grown into his role as a broadcaster on Fox’s top team alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews.
Brady has called six games so far for the network with his commentary heard regularly heard by more than 20 million people.
His former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has also embarked on a media career after his 24-year tenure in Foxboro ended.
Belichick appears on The Pat McAfee Show and Inside the NFL to break down the best of the action.
And former Patriots director of player personnel Scott Pioli told The Sun, “I think they’re doing a great job.
“I’ve heard more of Tom than Bill and he’s getting more comfortable.
“The bit I’ve watched from the two of them, they’re making strides pretty quickly.
“What they have is they’re smart but they also have experience and they’re able to share those experiences.”
Pioli joined the Patriots at the same time as Belichick in 2000 having worked with him at the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets.
He spent eight years as part of the dynasty and oversaw three Super Bowl victories.
Pioli helped Belichick and Brady turn the franchise around and won multiple executive of the year awards.
The 59-year-old also has a career in the media, where he has appeared on NBC’s coverages as well as been a regular on NFL Network.
Pioli left New England in 2008 to become general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009 to 2012.
He also served as Atlanta Falcons assistant general manager after that for five years.
“This media stuff is not easy – it’s really difficult,” he told The Sun.
The Tom Brady domino effect
Tom Brady will take his seat in Fox’s top NFL announce team alongside Kevin Burkhardt.
And his arrival at the network has set off a domino effect with every other announcer moving down one spot.
That means Fox’s NFL coverage in 2024 will feature entirely new broadcast pairings.
Greg Olsen, who previously worked alongside Burkhardt, will now be part of the No. 2 announce team with Joe Davis.
The other Fox pairings for 2024 are:

- Kenny Albert-Jon Vilma
- Kevin Kugler-Daryl Johnston
- Chris Myers-Mark Schlereth
“Because you have knowledge and experience, it doesn’t mean we can give that information to people.
“I liken it to teaching – there’s a lot of teachers and educators who are really smart, but can they communicate it to the student?
“It has to be put out in a powerful way that people can understand.
“What jams you up sometimes in this job is you have so much information.
“Then you’ve only got a couple of seconds to make a point that’s digestible.”
