42-year-old Curtis Walter Childers of Taylorsville was arrested Wednesday (September 25) by Alexander County Sheriff’s Officers in collaboration with the Taylorsville Police Department, Lenoir Police Department, and Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
He’s charged with one count each of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver methamphetamine and marijuana, one count of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, two counts of simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, and one count apiece of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana paraphernalia.
The investigating agencies executed a search warrant at an address on Arthur Jenkins Lane in Taylorsville. During the operation, officers reportedly seized methamphetamine and marijuana.
Childers was released on a $60,000 secured bond. He’s scheduled for a first appearance in Alexander County District Court next Monday (September 30).
