TAYLOR Swift did not attend Travis Kelce’s Week 8 Kansas City Chiefs game – and missed a career highlight in the process.
The 35-year-old Kelce recorded the first touchdown of the season during the Chiefs‘ 27-20 road win over the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.
During the second quarter, Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed a pass to Kelce on third-and-goal.
The nine-time Pro Bowl tight end caught the pass in the endzone for the touchdown.
It marked Kelce’s first regular season reception touchdown in 13 games.
He achieved the stat on National Tight Ends’ Day and the five-yard touchdown was the 75th of his NFL career, which made him just the fifth tight end to reach the milestone.
After the score, Kelce moved into No. 5 all-time for career touchdowns by a tight end and broke a tie with the Dallas Cowboys legend Jason Witten.
He needs 14 more touchdowns to tie the fourth-place New Orleans Saints icon Jimmy Graham.
The all-time tight end touchdown leader is Antonio Gates, who has 116 career scores and is expected to be in the NFL Hall of Fame in 2025.
Unfortunately, Swift did not appear in Las Vegas to watch Kelce’s feat.
She has continued to perform her icon Eras Tour.
Over the weekend, Swift’s concert took place in New Orleans.
It was the second straight week that Kelce played while the 14-time Grammy winner wasn’t present in the luxury box.
In Week 7, he struggled against the San Francisco 49ers, recording just four catches while Swift was performing her Eras Tour in Miami.
The Chiefs are undefeated this season with a 7-0 record while receiving less-than-stellar results from Kelce.
He posted just eight receptions in the first three games.

Kelce’s slow start received criticism from analysts and fans, with many believing his offseason business endeavors and personal life with Swift were reasons for his on-field slump.
The couple partied and vacationed throughout the summer.
This NFL season, Kelce and Swift have enjoyed dinner in New York City.
The pair attended an MLB playoff game and the US Open men’s final last month.
Swift attended Kelce’s Week 5 Monday Night Football game versus the New Orleans Saints.
He posted nine receptions for 70 yards in the game.
Kelce caught 10 receptions for 90 yards – both season-highs – over the weekend.
It’s possible Swift can root for Kelce and the Chiefs during their Monday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 4.
