‘Skeem Saam’: Meet Tbose and Mapitsi’s nanny

Skeem Saam’s fan-favourite couple Mapitsi (Mogau Motlhatswi) and Thabo “Tbose” Maputla (Hungani Ndlovu) have been looking for a nanny for their newborn baby as her maternity leave is ending soon.

MEET THE NANNY

TVSA reports that the couple’s nanny, Sis Bertha (played by Julia Mathe) will make her debut on Skeem Saam on Monday, 21 October episode.

This is after they interviewed several nannies this past week and turned them down as they were either too young or too expensive for them.

The teasers reveal that Mapitsi and Tbose will be speechless when she arrives.

The publication adds that Bertha is bossy, has a strong and domineering personality and she will cause trouble for the Turfloop “it” couple.

She will also cause trouble for Tbose’s mother and Mapitsi’s mother-in-law, Meikie Maputla (played by Harriet Manamela).

“She has a very traditional view on gender roles within marriage and isn’t afraid to make this known, even though she’s getting paid to keep the kids quiet,” adds the publication.

Mapitsi and Tbose have never had a nanny before as they always lived with the Maputla family.

‘SKEEM SAAM’ REPLACES PITSI

Skeem Saam also recently introduced a new son (Pitsi) for the couple, Mapitsi and Tbose) on 2 September.

SABC1 reveals that the new Pitsi Maputla is played by Lethabo Matsetela.

Pitsi’s on-screen parents Hungani Ndlovu who plays Thabo “Tbose” Maputla, and Mogau Motlhatswi who plays Mapitsi Maputla also welcomed their new bundle of joy, Baby Oratile (played by Realeboha Khotle).

Viewers will also witness the new family of four moving out of Meikie’s house and moving into their new house in season 13.
