The First Take star was asked for his thoughts on Jones’ explosive radio appearance.

Cowboys boss Jones told a radio host live on-air that he would have him replaced with somebody who would ask better questions.

Jones also told the host “this is not your job” in a wild rant after Dallas lost 47-9 at home to the Detroit Lions.

And Sharpe was seething with Jones’ actions.

“To put a man in fear for his job, I hate, I detest, I despise someone that will prey on the weak,” the former NFL star said.

“Jerry Jones is in an advantageous position, he has the power in this situation.

“That he would say that publicly – that tells me a lot about a man that has power and would abuse that power.

“To tell that man ‘I will get somebody in here to ask me favorable questions.’

“That is absolutely that guy’s job to ask Jerry that.

“What do you think his job was?”

Sharpe also accused Jones of shying away when things go bad for the Cowboys.

Sunday’s 38-point hammering by the Detroit Lions was the heaviest in Jones’ 35-year ownership.

Jones also snapped at a reporter in the locker room when he was asked about a potential coaching change.

“Jerry wants all of the credit when things go well but none of the blame,” Sharpe continued.

“He told us how many times ‘the buck stops with me.

“‘Any deal that ever happened I either signed off on it or I got notified of it.’

“Now you’re getting trounced and you want no part of it – that is embarrassing.”

Stephen A. Smith nodded and agreed as Sharpe launched his passionate rant.

And Sharpe concluded, “If the Cowboys don’t win another playoff game or another game as long as Jerry Jones is the owner, I’ll be the happiest man in the world.”
