San Francisco 49ers star Trent Williams’ shock gesture to young fan moments after punching Chiefs rival spotted

SAN FRANCISCO 49ers star Trent Williams signed a young fan’s hat moments after being ejected for striking a Kansas City Chiefs opponent.

The 49ers hosted the Chiefs on Sunday in a Super Bowl rematch, following last season’s final that saw the Missouri outfit leaving with the trophy.

The result was the same as the visitors picked up a 28-18 victory at the Levi’s Stadium to add to San Francisco‘s struggles.

The hosts’ problems increased late in the fourth quarter as Williams, 36, received his marching orders from the referee.

It all started when Chiefs ace Bryan Cook hit the offensive tackle’s helmet while he was in a downed position.

The American retaliated with a much more powerful strike to Cook’s helmet.

Williams was tossed from the match, while the Chiefs ace was not penalised.

Nevertheless, it seems like the 49ers star quickly calmed down on his way down the tunnel.

That is where he met a young fan that offered her oversized hat asking for an autograph.

And Williams had the presence of mind to cheer the supporter up as he signed the hat before walking back to the dressing room.

The 49ers have now lost four matches this season and thus sit at a disappointing 3-4 record.

The Chiefs, on the other hand, have won all of their first six matches since the start of the NFL campaign.

Kansas City, though, also went viral as head coach Andy Reid placed the backups of the offensive line in front of his starting stars while they sat on the bench to shield them from the scorching heat.
