Another clip of Springbok Eben Etzebeth brawling on the pitch with rugby players has gone viral. But this time, the Sharks captain was seen coming to the rescue of one of his dearest friends – Siya Kolisi.
The fight took place at Kings Park Stadium over the weekend during the Durban club’s match with Glasgow Warriors.
The home side won the game 28-24.
EBEN ETZEBETH COMES TO SIYA KOLISI’S RESCUE
In a clip that has had social media users amused, Eben Etzebeth – who was named Sharks captain for their game over the weekend – was seen fighting off a group of players from Glasgow Warriors.
The brawl kicked off when one Scottish player pushed Bongi Mbonambi, shortly after the second half began. Fellow Sharks Ox Nche, Phepsi Buthelezi, and Siya Kolisi – who are all Springboks – tried to diffuse the tense situation, which quickly spiralled out of control.
Swiftly stepping was Eben, who managed to thrust off several opponents, who had particularly surrounded Siya.

‘THEY STARTED IT’
In a special feature on SuperSport earlier this month, Siya Kolisi took his pal Eben Etzebeth “down memory lane” and reflected on career milestones.
The duo – who are known for their banter and bromance – laughed and joked over the times together both on and off the pitch.
In one segment, Siya teased Eben – who is the most capped Springbok – over his pitch brawls with local and foreign teammates.
“Why do you always have so many people around you? Why are you smiling – you’re scary at the same time?” Siya hilariously asked.
Siya claimed that he had tried to step in to help his pal but could never infiltrate the opponents surrounding Eben.
“They started it,” Eben jokingly responded.
