(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department reported on Thursday, Sept. 26 a major intersection was closed due to a crash, and would remain closed for several hours.
CSPD said via X (formerly known as Twitter) that the entire intersection of North Union Boulevard and Research Parkway was closed due to a crash that occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. CSPD said people were injured due to the crash, and anticipates the intersection will not reopen for two to three hours.
CSPD asked the community to avoid the area.
