Reebok, in collaboration with the family of South African hip-hop icon Kiernan Forbes (AKA), is proud to announce the release of the second sneaker release between AKA x Reebok titled SneAKA 2.0.
This latest edition pays tribute to the original collaboration between AKA and Reebok while celebrating the enduring legacy of one of Africa’s most influential artists.
The SneAKA 2.0 keeps the original’s iconic Classic Leather silhouette with chalk-colored leather, a cheetah-print insole, and red heel stub, but adds two key updates. For the first time, the South African flag replaces the Union Jack, and AKA’s handwritten initials, “KJF,” are embroidered on the heel with 3M reflective details to honor his legacy.
Look out for the AKA x Reebok SneAKA 2.0 to release on Saturday, 16 November 2024 at selected Reebok stores—limited to 1000 pairs.
