Rebecca posted a photo of her mother lying in a hospital bed, smiling and giving a thumbs up.

Alongside the image, the New Zealand-born actress wrote that she had asked her mother for permission to share the photo.

“Mom said it’s okay to post this photo because she said it looks a lot worse than it is, but she did fall once and will be in the hospital again for a while. Nothing’s broken except a few cracks and bruises,” Rebecca said.

“I know how much she enjoys reading the comments and well wishes from all of you, so if you could send some prayers and a little love for Shirl, we would all appreciate it.”
