Primark has unveiled a brand new range celebrating a cult 1980s horror comedy flick – and shoppers are loving it.

Staff at the budget brand’s Perth store in Scotland have been showing off its Gremlins collection.

“Gremlins have landed at Primark”, gushed staff.

The Steven Spielberg classic sees a bunch of evil creatures run riot over festive season – leading to some arguments over whether it is a Halloween or Christmas flock.

And despite being released in 1984, the movie continues to be popular today.

Now fans can get hold of a cute £7 fluffy throw with a hooded option available too.

Primark bosses say: “Make your film night set-up even more epic with this soft throw showcasing a cute Gizmo pattern!”

There’s also patterned fleecy pyjamas and even plush Gremlin toys available in the new range.

“Obsessed”, cried one shopper.

A second added: “I want all of them.”

Meanwhile, a third wrote: “Gremlins are appearing everywhere now for something back in the day that was difficult to get a hold of, now they are in abundance!!”

It’s not the first spooky range that’s hit Primark’s shelves.

The store has already got customers squealing over its Beetlejuice range, after the sequel to the 80s classic was released earlier this month.

Shoppers are loving the cosy striped black and white pyjamas and slippers.

Halloween fans have also been sent into a frenzy over the retail giant’s Nightmare Before Christmas collection.
