LIVERPOOL legend Peter Cormack has passed away at the age of 78.
The Reds confirmed the tragic news on Friday morning as they paid tribute to the former Scotland international.
A statement read: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of former midfielder Peter Cormack, aged 78.
“Rest in peace, Peter.”
Cormack played under iconic Liverpool manager Bill Shankly during his four-year stint at Anfield between 1972 and 1976.
He won two First Division titles, the FA Cup and Uefa Cup.
