(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — Guns For Everyone, a Colorado firearms training company started offering free concealed handgun permit classes in 2012 and is about to celebrate its 500th free concealed carry class in Colorado Springs.
The class will be in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. at the Colorado Springs Guns for Everyone location at 5249 Galley Road.
“We’ve been privileged to instruct over 100,000 students in the state of Colorado for free since we started,” said Edgar Antillon, Co-Founder of Guns For Everyone and lead instructor. “We’ve surpassed well over 3,000 classes across Colorado since 2012, in the Denver area, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, the San Luis Valley, northern Colorado, Limon, the Western Slope, and many communities in between.”
According to Co-Founder Isaac Chase the Colorado Springs classroom has averaged two classes per week since 2020. Classes offered meet the state-mandated Concealed Handgun Permit training requirements, and the certificates issued can be used to apply for a permit in any county in Colorado.
Guns For Everyone offers free classroom education along with free and discounted range time and live-fire handgun training courses.
