The closures will be in place to allow crews to install drains along the road’s edge, install rumble strips, and make minor concrete repairs.

  • Southbound I-25, Friday, Oct. 18, 7 p.m. to 9 a.m.

The speed limit in this area has been reduced to 60 mph. CDOT said traffic delays of 10-15 minutes are expected, and motorists are urged to use extra caution while traveling in the area. Fines will be doubled through the construction zone.

In addition to the closures on I-25, there will also be a temporary full closure of northbound South Academy Boulevard between I-25 and US 85/87 on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. to Monday, Oct. 21 at 4:30 a.m. for Fountain Creek bridge deck repairs. A detour will be in place:
