INSTAGRAM Nick Knowles - Arm update!....Today I have seen Dr’s and Physio’s who have been wonderful. I’ve had scans (I’ll spare you the grim details) and although it’s feeling a bit better today, the issue is, we don’t know if I can actually use my arm to dance.....So tomorrow, I’m going to rehearsals with @lubamushtuk and the physio to see just what my arm can do. Then the medics will make a call on if they think I can continue dancing.....I am still really hopeful that I’ll be able to dance this weekend. So fingers crossed… - https://www.instagram.com/p/DATvxdZOspM/?hl=en

Last night The Sun revealed DIY SOS presenter Nick was still in the dark over whether or not he’ll be able to dance on Saturday night.

After training all day yesterday with Luba Mushtuk, Nick took to Instagram to give fans an update.

He said: “I’ve just got out of soaking in the bath after a day’s training, which went very well.

“My shoulder is repairing very well. I saw a great physio today that’s helped enormously.

“So I get another day’s training tomorrow. The decision will be made tomorrow afternoon, whether I can actually compete on Saturday.

“I’m doing my level best to get there, keeping my fingers crossed. So hopefully see.”

Last night an insider told The Sun: “Nick is desperate to carry on and is insisting he is fine to perform but the BBC are naturally wary.

“If Nick continues and does more damage to himself in the long run it puts them in a tricky position. His health comes first but Nick is pleading with them to continue.”

He spent hours in a rehearsal studio with Luba to try to prove he could still perform — despite being in a sling.

A source revealed he will have little time to practise if he is cleared.

They added added: “Nick needs to learn a whole routine, he has barely any time at all.

“If he is cleared he will need to learn quickly. Luba is an amazing teacher and she is confident they can do it. But, ultimately, it might get to a point that the BBC just put their foot down.”
