FOOTBALL fans flooded social media Thursday night to claim the New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys game was rigged.
The Thursday Night Football showdown at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey saw a shocking ending.

Dallas ran out 20-15 winners over their NFC East division rivals to move to 2-2 on the season.
The Cowboys were a 5.5-point favorite on most points spreads headed into the game.
With less than a minute to go and a five-point lead over the Giants, Dallas lined up for a field goal.
Brandon Aubrey steadied himself for the kick from 51 yards, which would’ve extended the Cowboys’ lead to eight points.
Much to everyone’s surprise, the kicker missed his first field goal attempt of the season as he watched his effort sail wide.
And fans were adamant that the ending was rigged, given the points spread.
“This is the most rigged s**t I’ve ever seen,” one claimed on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Cowboys -5.5 and Aubrey misses his first FG of the season.”
Another wrote, “If you just watched the Cowboys game ending, Aubrey on a garbage time field goal to cover -5.5 opening line and he missed it.
“This has been the most rigged NFL season I’ve ever seen, everything is backwards from what the books show.”
While a third declared, “You can’t convince me the NFL isn’t rigged.
“Aubrey a guy that doesn’t miss from 66 feet misses a normal FG to keep the lead at 5 when the spread was at 5.5.
“I didn’t take either side just making a point.”
Wild conspiracy theories that sports games are rigged often spread online after games without any substance.
This year’s Super Bowl took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, which is America’s gambling capital.
The location as well as Taylor Swift’s presence to cheer on Travis Kelce added even more scrutiny.
One theory circulating ahead of the Super Bowl was that it was scripted for the Chiefs to get their so Swift would boost ratings.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell shot down those claims and called them “nonsense.”
“I don’t think I’m that good a scripter or anybody on our staff, ” Goodell said.
“Listen, there is no way I could have scripted that one let’s put it that way.
“I think the idea that this was a script, that this was pre-planned, that’s nonsense.”
