31-year-old John Thomas Harris, who is listed as a homeless person from Newton, was arrested by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with two counts of attempt to break & enter a motor vehicle along with single counts of felony larceny and first-degree trespass. Harris was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (October 18) under $5,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
