POLICE have launched a probe into the mysterious death of a “loving mum and daughter” who was found dead in their home.
Tributes have poured in for Mary Lewis who died at a property in Carmarthenshire aged 47.
Police have confirmed that they are now investigating her death which they are treating as “unexplained”.
A spokesman for the force said: “We received a call reporting concerns for the welfare of a woman at an address in Laugharne at just before 11.20am on Friday, October 18.
“Sadly the woman passed away at the property.
“Her next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this time.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and the coroner has been informed.”
