LEGENDARY Los Angeles Dodgers broadcaster Fernando Valenzuela has been hospitalized.
Valenzuela, 63, could miss the entire Major League Baseball postseason after the health scare.

The play caller stepped away from the broadcast booth last week.
And the team released a statement that the commentator suffered from a health problem.
The statement read, “Fernando Valenzuela has stepped away from the Dodger broadcast booth for the remainder of this year to focus on his health.
“He and his family truly appreciate the love and support of fans as he aims to return for the 2025 season.
“They have asked for privacy during this time.”
Valenzuela calls the Spanish-language broadcast for the Dodgers.
“Not much is known,” journalist David Faitelson added.
“He and his family have wanted to keep the disease secret.
“We pray for his speedy recovery.”
Valenzuela used to be a pitcher, spending 10 of his 17 years in the MLB with the Dodgers.
He was a six-time All-Star and won the World Series in 1981.
The Dodgers retired his No. 34 and he was inducted into the Mexican Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
The 63-year-old will not return to the broadcast booth this season.
Fans were quick to leave their comments of support on social media.
“Prayers up for Fernando,” one wrote.
“Heal up goat,” a second posted on X.
“Prayers for the legend,” a third said.
The Dodgers will take on the San Diego Padres in the National League playoffs division round beginning this weekend.
They finished 98-64 in the regular-season to clinch top spot in the NL West division.
Los Angeles has won the World Series seven times – the last of which came in 2020.
