HUBERT, N.C. (WNCT) — On October 7, Onslow County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting on Bear Creek Road.
Colton Bush was found with several gunshot wounds when deputies arrived. Bush, 28, was, “under an active Domestic Violence Protective Order,” when the shooting took place. It was also unlawful for him to reside at the home.
Bush was taken to Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune where he was later pronounced dead.
Onslow County Sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
