She was missing last week during the New York Jets home loss to the Buffalo Bills.

And the veteran was nowhere to be seen for the Week 7 clash between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baltimore Ravens.

Instead, she was replaced on the sidelines by ESPN star Laura Rutledge.

Commentator Joe Buck revealed the news of her absence to viewers at the start of the game.

He also revealed the reason for her absence was for a family matter.

“Laura Rutledge again with us tonight,” said Buck.

“We miss the heck out of Lisa Salters who is tending to a family matter.

“Hope to have her back next week, or whenever she gets things settled.

“We’re certainly thinking of her on this night, as we were a week ago.”

Viewers were quick to head to social media to send their messages of support to Salters.

One said: “Prayers up for Lisa!”

Another added: “So what’s wrong with her. Concerned.”

A third commented: “Hope it resolves itself soon.”

And one said: “Poor Lisa!”
