Irish actor Cillian will reprise his fan-favourite role as role of Tommy Shelby.

It comes as Netflix announced Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan has signed up for the film.

And now Stephen Graham has revealed he has also signed on the dotted line.

He made the announcement to Deadline at the London Film Festival earlier this week.

Steven Knight, the man behind the six BBC series of Peaky Blinders, teased what fans can expect.

He said: “I’m thrilled to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II.

“The country is at war, and so, of course, are our Peaky Blinders.”

While director Tom Harper added: “There’s a great feeling of anticipation and excitement amongst our outstanding cast and crew.

“We’re grateful to the fans for getting us to this point and believe this next chapter is going to deliver something extraordinary.”

Peaky Blinders original aired on BBC One between 2013 and 2022 before it ended after six series.

Bosses have not yet revealed who else will be in the cast lineup and if more original stars will return.
