The Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Soccer team fell to #8 Wingate 2-0 on Saturday evening. This was the Bear’s first SAC loss of the season, and they will look to rebound on Wednesday when Anderson comes to town. Lenoir-Rhyne was held without a goal for just the second time this season, and this loss snaps a two-game winning streak.

Wingate got the board in the 9th minute thanks to an own goal by the Bears. The Bulldogs added an insurance goal in the 26th minute thanks to Pablo Pozos. The second half went scoreless as both teams only totaled a combined five shots.
