LEBRON JAMES has blasted the Los Angeles Lakers’ pre-season schedule in a scathing social media post.
The Lakers are gearing up for the NBA season, which kicks off a week on Tuesday with the New York Knicks‘ trip to rivals the Boston Celtics.

James, 39, vented his fury at the journey on Twitter on Wednesday evening[/caption]
James and his team-mates will continue their preparations tonight with a friendly against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum.
And the 1,750-mile journey has well and truly annoyed the future Hall of Famer, who competed for Team USA at the Paris Olympics this summer.
The 39-year-old wrote on X on Wednesday: “Can someone please explain to me why we’re getting on a [plane emoji] and heading to Milwaukee for 1 pre-season game!?!?”
The Lakers’ ENTIRE pre-season has been on the road due to ongoing renovations to the Crypto.com Arena.
Basketball fans didn’t have much sympathy for James, with one replying: “I believe that’s where the Bucks play, if I’m not mistaken.”
Another said: “Because you’re getting paid millions of dollars?”
And another said: “It’s your job lol.”
One remarked: “I would assume because you’re playing the Bucks in a preseason game.”
And another remarked: “Because the Bucks play there.”
One Bucks fan commented: “Milwaukee is where the Bucks reside, the team that you will be playing… on their court.
“The reason you’re getting on a plane is because it’s a lot faster than driving or even walking.
“Also, because you play in the NBA, make exorbitant amounts of money to do so, and that contract requires you to play basketball in the cities of all the teams that also play in that league.
“Hope this helps, Bronny Sr. Let me know if you need anything else.”
James’ team-mate D’Angelo Russell, however, understands his point of view.
The point guard said: “I think for guys like AD and Bron who played all summer in the Olympics, they’ll be load managing those guys.
“But the rest of us are still hungry.
“We want to go out there and play every game and put the Laker uniform on and see how the crowd responds to whoever is out there on the floor.
“Get some energy from that. So, for me, I look forward to having a good time.”
