Kick Streamer Fousey Faces Ban After Heated Altercation During Live Broadcast

It is the same story with Kick streamer Fousey—he does something nasty and what follows is a suspension from the platform.

This time around, he has been banned following an alleged altercation with his manager and use of slurs.

Yousef Saleh Erakat, has been suspended from the platform following an October 30, 2024, incident.

It was an Australian-based IRL stream where Fousey got into an altercation with his manager, which culminated in him attacking the manager.

He also used unsavory and inappropriate words, including the ‘F-word’ multiple times.

Immediately after the incident, Fousey’s Kick channel went offline.

The suspension comes on the heels of Fousey signing an exclusive deal with Kick, which made it impossible to switch to other platforms.

In a message to his fans, he remarked,

“Not even 48 hours into my 24/7, 30 days, and Kick bans me… I can’t go to Twitch to continue.”

Fousey also stated that the ban was not caused only due to the physical altercation.

He added,

“I don’t think they banned me because of the punch… if we don’t ban him and keep him quiet right now, he’s going to expose all of us.”

He also stated that he is expecting Kick to clarify the ban’s duration.

Fousey had an inkling that his actions would invite a ban and urged his followers to follow him on Twitch.

However, he was honest enough to accept his faux pas and stated,

“I did something… I shouldn’t have. I did. We’re all human.”

Fousey also underlined the fact that he faces inspection 24/7 as a live streamer and also articulated the frustration and susceptibility in the public eye.

Even though he has an option to switch to Twitch as a backup, the contractual obligations with the Kick platform will make the switch improbable.

His actions have provoked a huge backlash on social media.

His action of punching a team member and mocking employees following an album leak has not augured well with his fans.

A series of incidents during a live stream, which included firing several team members and physically assaulting one employee, has not done any facelift for his image.

Worse, the altercation was caught on live stream across social media platforms, leading to widespread criticism of his behaviour.

The livestream video clearly shows Fousey engaged in fisticuffs with his cameraman after details of his upcoming album were leaked.

This is not the first controversy involving him, and the latest event has led to a chorus asking for accountability.

The streamer’s actions have also led to questions about his conduct in public and professional settings.
