Jude Law and Jurnee Smollett looked excited to be reunited as they spoke at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The actor, 51, and the actress, 38, took the stage at The Meryl Streep Center for Performing Artists ahead of the release of their new thriller and crime film, The Order.
Jude, who plays washed-up FBI agent Terry Husk in the film, cut a smart figure for the event by donning a beige vest, gray pants and brown shoes.
While Jurnee, who plays Joanne Carney, showed off her amazing figure in a plunging red midi dress which she wore with sky-high black heels.
The Holiday star and Eve’s Bayou actress were all smiles as they hugged on the red carpet before posing for photos.

Jude plays washed-up FBI agent Terry Husk in the film, which will hit theaters for a short time on December 6.
The pair were joined by co-star Nicholas Hoult, 34, who dressed cool as he tucked a black and white striped rugby shirt into black trousers.
The Warm Bodies actor, who plays Bob Mathews in the thriller, beamed as the trio posed for a photo together.

Jude’s performance as a cop who takes on real-life white supremacist group The Order received a seven-minute standing ovation at a screening during the Zurich Film Festival earlier this month.
The heartthrob said of his character: “He had a kind of lived-in quality that I enjoyed.
“There was a lot of discussion about facial hair, but every agent I interviewed had a mustache, so it was a given that I had to grow one.”

The Order is based on the 1989 biography The Silent Brotherhood by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt.
It was written by Zach Baylin and distributed by Prime Video (via Amazon MGM Studios).
Although it is a Prime Video film, Vertical has acquired partial rights to the film and it will receive a limited theatrical release on December 6, 2024.
The synopsis reads: “A series of bank robberies and car robberies have terrified communities across the Pacific Northwest.
“A lone FBI agent believes the crimes were not the work of financially motivated criminals, but rather a group of dangerous domestic terrorists.”
At The Order’s Venice Film Festival press conference, Jude spoke about the importance of the film at a time when far-right ideologies are on the rise again.
“Unfortunately, the relevance speaks for itself,” he said. ‘It felt like a piece of work that had to be done now.

‘It’s always interesting to find a piece from the past that has a relevant relationship to the present.’
Director Justin agreed with Jude, adding that the film’s parallels to today’s world made it so interesting to make.
It’s always something extraordinary when you come across a piece of writing or an event from the past that has a certain perspective that can have a conversation with contemporary politics.
‘That’s a rare gem. So we felt like a lot was being said about today.”
