Jodie Marsh reveals her huge country home is on the market for £1.5m after war with neighbours over her animal sanctuary

JODIE Marsh has put her huge country pile on the market for £1.5million after she revealed she had been subject to vile trolling from her neighbours.

Those living close to the pin-up’s Essex pad became infuriated as the once-hard partying socialite created an animal sanctuary for creatures in need on the home’s vast grounds.

Following the vile comments from those nearby – which saw her branded a “s**g” – Jodie, 45, has now placed the stunning property on the market chain-free.

The Grade II listed, white-walled home has gated parking for multiple vehicles, a spacious garden and is situated on a large plot of land.

Inside, there’s a two bedroom annex as well as three bedrooms in the main home.

Exposed brickwork and original beams can be seen through the multiple reception rooms, which have been painted a fresh white.

Jodie’s home – which she often featured on Instagram – boasts a family bathroom as well as a kitchen and separate utility room.

There’s also stained glass windows which the estate agent hails as “creating a rustic countryside charm.”

Meanwhile, a separate annex offers further space – with some rooms currently used as a studio and home gym.

Estate agent Durden and Hunt states the characterful property “provides a countryside retreat from the hustle and bustle whilst still being connected to local schools, amenities and transport links in the surrounding areas.”

FARM GIRL

Jodie previously exclusively gushed about building up her sanctuary Fripps Farm – with ponies, swans and a parrot – in a chat with The Sun.

Back in 2023, she said although many locals in the surrounding town of Great Dunmow are regular visitors, bringing their kids to come and see the animals, some have been shouting abuse over the fence and cruelly calling her a “s**g”.

She said: “There are four people in four separate houses that hate me for no reason.

“And they’ve been trolling me.

“They’re full-on ASBO, screaming abuse, effing and blinding over the fence at me. And I don’t know why.”

Previously, she said she was the happiest she’s ever been, having seen Fripps Farm snowball since opening in 2020.

Then, at a previous site in Chelmsford, she had around 350 animals, including meerkats, sheep, emus, birds, rabbits and even a baby deer.

Since then, Fripps has also become a CIC (Community Interest Company), which is similar to having charity status, and means it is officially recognised as being a “service to the community,” and can receive donations and help with funding.

The sanctuary now has over 600 animals, including “loads and loads of ducks,” more than 20 equines, meerkats, skunks and a lot more exotic animals.

Jodie recently went to court after attempting to adopt eight lemurs at the sanctuary.

She claimed Uttlesford council’s refusal to grant a dangerous wild animal licence — amid claims she took a meerkat to the pub — was unreasonable.

The former Celeb Big Brother contestant said the ring-tailed lemurs’ owner wanted her to take them in – and accused the council of having a “grudge” against her.

Her appeal at a Chelmsford court was adjourned until next year.
