Taking to Instagram, Jeremy has now announced his latest project, much to fans’ excitement.

In a short video, he revealed his new book, titled Diddly Squat: Home to Roost.

“I’ve done a thing!”, Jeremy began, using a familiar catchphrase to begin his update.

He continued: “It’s a copy of my new book. I thought it would be a good idea to read you an excerpt from it.

“To give you a flavour of what you can expect.”

However, he teased followers by simply reading: “But what if you want some bread?”

Continuing, the presenter stated his book would be released on October 24 – but it is available to pre-order.

One fan commented: “The level of genius involved with this book.”

Another played along with Jeremy’s joke, writing: “Why did you read from the book? You spoiled it and now I know everything about it!”

A third chimed in: “Amazing work Jeremy. Proud of you.”

Previously, Jeremy opened up about the “real reason” behind The Grand Tour ending.

He penned in The Sunday Times: “After 36 years of talking about cars on television, I’m packing it in, because I’m too old and too fat to get into the cars I like and not interested in driving those I don’t.”

Meanwhile, the book’s title, of course, refers to Jeremy’s Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds.

Three series of Clarkson’s Farm have aired to date, following his journey running said farm.

Jeremy left fans excited, meanwhile, after accidentally sharing an update on the show’s future.

Ahead of series four being released, the star alluded to a potential series five.

Alongside a snap of Andy holding up some canine treats, he joked: “The dogs pleading with Andy Wilman to be in season 5.”

One delighted viewer commented: “Season 5. Amazing !!!!!!! Bring on season 4!!!!”
