TIKTOK has popularised a sound from an acclaimed TV show known as Broad City and it’s racking up nostalgia amongst fans.
The “In da clurb” sound is trending and even celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter are using it.

The soundbite has got everyone lip-syncing, including actress and singer Sabrina Carpenter, and pop pioneers, Charli XCX and Troye Sivan.

This TikTok sound has gone viral with billions of meme videos being made to apply the theme.
The sound is a clip of dialogue between the main characters Abbi and Ilana from a famous scene of Broad City.
The soundbite script asks: “Do you know them?”
“No, but in da clurb, we all fam.
“What?”
“In da clurb, we all fam.
“I don’t.
“In the club we are all family.”
Sometimes the TikTok video will include the other line of “Are you racist?”
Most pop stars using the sound have opted to cut that part out.
The sound is often accompanied by a sassy video and a caption detailing some sort of misunderstanding.
In Sabrina Carpenter’s video that gained 3.9 million likes wrote: “My 30-year-old fans trying to talk to my 12-year-old fans.”
The sound was originally posted by American comedian Maggie Winters who goes by the name of @saggiesplinters.

Broad City was a popular American sitcom that followed the lives of two inseparable friends living in New York.
It first aired on Comedy Central on January 22, 2014.
After 50 episodes the series ended on March 28, 2019.
