IF you’re already planning your Christmas grocery list, a trip to Aldi may be in the cards.
The shop’s budget fizz has been labelled the best Laurent Perrier champagne dupe on the market.

Aldi recenlty launched their Autumn Winter wine collection and it’s already earning rave reviews from influencers.
Lucy Hitchcock, who founded Partner in Wine UK, shared her thoughts on Aldi’s Specially Selected Crémant du Jura.
The drink was awarded gold at this year’s Drinks Business Sparkling Masters.
With flavours of apple and citrus fruits with the fizz is described as having a “fresh, elegant finish.”
Lucy described the drink as “the real Laurent Perrier champagne dupe.”
“Make sure you stock up in time for Christmas,” the Instagrammer added.
She pointed out that the drink is so popular because it is “made in the exact same way as champagne.”
Lucy added that the drink is 100% chardonnay, giving it her official seal of approval.
Also available in the selection are a wide variety of “cosy reds” and “crisp whites.”
“This collection has something for every palate and occasion,” the Aldi announcement read.
Wine fanatic Liam D’Arcy (@thewinewally) shared his thoughts on the brand’s £8.99 Specially Selected Rías Baixas Albariño.
“If you like really crisp refreshing white wines this is the one, I’m telling you,” he said in an Instagram reel.
Wine experts recommend enjoying a glass “alongside a warming winter seafood feast.”
“It’s the ultimate choice for those who crave crisp, clean flavours,” read the Aldi annoucement.

The drink is described as “pale pink and bursting with freshness, it offers delicate notes of red and white fruits with a whisper of red cherry on the finish.”
Experts recommend serving chilled with a “comforting autumn salad or a festive cheese board.”
Aldi shoppers can also pick up a £7.75 Specially Selected Chianti Reserva.
Aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 24 months, the wine is perfect for a cosy night in by the fire.
It is described as having a “smooth texture and enticing smoky notes” and “flavours of ripe cherry, raspberry, vanilla and a hint of spice.”
