I was body-shamed at Disneyland over my 55in bum – now airlines have banned me too, I’m forced to fly private

A WOMAN has claimed she’s having to fly private after allegedly finding herself ”banned by airlines” due to her giant bum.

Model Gracie Bon recently hit headlines after she insisted she’d been body-shamed during a trip to Disneyland, with visitors staring and laughing at her voluptuous figure.

The 27-year-old beauty, from Panama, said she was simply trying to enjoy the famous tourist hotspot when she was subjected to sniggering and strangers snapping photos of her curves.

“It’s time to stop body-shaming.

“We’re all different shapes and sizes and that’s what makes us unique.”

Unfortunately for the young woman, who is not shy about showing off her “rolls, cellulite and stretch marks”, there is a new issue – having to fork out to fly with private jets.

The Fashion Nova ambassador, who boasts a staggering 9.1million followers on Instagram, revealed she had to splash out on two or three seats to ensure her 55in booty could fit.

Calling for a change, the influencer recently said: “Aeroplanes should have bigger seats.

“It’s not my fault I have a butt this big.”

Despite campaigning for more inclusive seating, the young beauty appears to have hit a dead end and claimed that now that flying private is her “only solution”.

Flaunting her new way of travelling, Gracie gave her followers a glimpse of her glam life – and an area of private jet the model was unsure if she’d fit in.

Gracie shared: “Some airlines banned me so this is how I have to travel every time.

”I used to buy two or three seats so I started a campaign requesting bigger seats and they didn’t like it.

”Now flying private jet is my only solution.”

The curvy Fashion Nova model gushed about her “favourite place” on the luxurious jet – the “VIP” loo.

The swanky lavatory let her comfortably do her business – although the influencer confessed: “I’m not sure I’m going to fit in this but we’ll see.”

During the 10-hour flight, the star tucked into her fourth meal of the day consisting of a scrumptious chicken wrap, salad, and fruit, branding it “It was a perfect, healthy snack“.

Afterwards, Gracie headed for a three-hour nap, adding she “slept like a queen.”

What is body shaming?

In addition, “commenting on a person’s clothing, body hair, eating habits, make-up skills or attractiveness” could be constituted as body shaming too, PsychCentral explained.

While body shaming has become more of an issue in recent years, a study conducted by Glamour magazine in 2000 found that a staggering 97 per cent of women surveyed admitted to having an “I hate my body” moment.

And those who shame people about their figures can include doctors and medical professionals too.

A 2019 report found that more than 3 in 5 adults encounter “weight bias” from their doctors – particularly those who are obese.

And body shaming someone can have massive effects on their mental health, and could potentially lead to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, eating disorders and self-harm.

If you have been body shamed and are struggling to deal with the effects, you can call the Samaritans on 116 123 for confidential, emotional support.

“Is flying private the solution for big girls like me?” she pondered about the alleged airline ban.

Supporters were rallying behind Gracie, with one writing: “Go girl have fun do your thing you are living way better and look 100 times better than a lot of your haters.”

Another fan called it ”a smart idea”.

However, the comments section was also full of criticism, as some insisted she had no one else to blame but herself.

One troll pointed out: “Who else’s fault is it? No one forced you to get the surgeries.’”

“It’s your fault. You paid for the surgeries,” another quipped.

Although Gracie has been accused of undergoing a number of plastic procedures in the past, including butt lifts, breast implants, lip injections, fillers, and Botox, these allegations are yet to be confirmed.
