The mother, who is based in West Wales and previously revealed that she hates the school holidays on a caravan park, took to social media to open up on her lifestyle, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting online, she said: “If you want to be able to live on a pitch for free whilst actually generating income – you don’t have to run a business, you don’t have to have a remote job, you can become a Campsite Warden.

“Basically, this is the person who is the security, who is the cleaner, who is the administrator, you sort of do a whole tangent of things.

“You are living on the site and you do all of the stuff that a site owner would do, but you get paid for that.

“And you’re getting your pitch for free, you’re getting your electric for free, you’re getting your water for free.

“You generally get WiFi for free, depending on whether it’s actually on the site or not, so that’s a lot of bills that are included, and you’re getting an income for that as well.”

Katie explained that despite this, the income is “not very good” and is generally minimum wage.

But regardless of this, Katie raved about the lifestyle and shared that although the money isn’t great, it’s worth it because of everything that you get included.

Not only this, but she also raved about the “transferable skills” involved with the job too.

Katie explained that campsite warden jobs are generally given to retired people or those who are semi-retired.

As well as this, she shared that a lot of these jobs are also available for couples too.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @thecaravanfamily, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as people flocked to the comments to share their thoughts on the unique job.

Meanwhile, many were keen to know more about the job, as one user asked: “If you do these jobs can you live full time?”

In response, Katie explained: “Yes you’ll be there permanently – however they do tend to be temp contracts/seasonal contracts and you will still need a separate residential address for payslips.”

At the same time, someone else questioned: “Where can I do that?”

To this, Katie confirmed: “UK Campsites is just one of them, just put campsite wardens into any search engine!”
