GERMAN happy hardcore band Scooter have been raving for three decades but it has certainly paid off.
They are about to embark on a tour celebrating 30 years of the group, starting in Aberdeen on Wednesday, although they certainly don’t need the money as they made millions last year selling the rights to their back catalogue.

In an exclusive chat, H.P. Baxxter from the group has revealed he made so much cash from the deal that he splashed out big time.
H.P. – who has had hits including The Logical Song and Jumping All Over The World – told me: “That was good fun and I bought a house in Marbella with a very nice sea view. I’m really into classic British cars so that was an opportunity to buy three classic cars.”
The band’s high-octane shows are big workouts and although he is now 60, H.P. still loves to party.
But their fans often get wilder than they do.
He recalled: “When we played the Australian tour, I was on stage and suddenly there was a guy next to me with his pants down and he was just dancing.
“The bouncers threw him off the stage and it was like a punk rock show – really unbelievable.
“Sometimes in the crowd I see girls doing strip teases. It’s really, really funny.
“That’s what Scooter’s about – have fun and don’t take life too seriously. This is our mission.”
On what fans can expect from the Scooter: Thirty, Rough And Dirty! tour, which you can get tickets for now at livenation.co.uk, he added: “I would say it’s pure energy.
“If you wanna forget about all your problems and troubles for nearly two hours and just have fun and go wild with the crowd, try out a Scooter show.”
Adele’s big Celine fan
THEY say never meet your heroes, they’ll surely disappoint.
But for Adele it was the complete opposite when she spotted Celine Dion in the audience at one of her Las Vegas shows last week.
The Brit superstar burst into tears as she walked up to give Celine a hug.
The My Heart Will Go On singer was just as emotional watching Adele, as fans spotted her holding a tissue to her eyes as the Londoner sang When We Were Young.
Adele has been a huge fan of Celine’s for years and in 2018 went to watch her in concert in Vegas.
The pair later hung out backstage, with Celine saying of Adele: “I love her so much.”
Hopefully they dried their eyes by the time they had a catch up in Adele’s dressing room.

Cruz in step with Jackie
CRUZ BECKHAM is playing a publicity blinder after it was claimed his mum Posh wasn’t best pleased about his new romance with older woman Jackie Apostel.
In a series of snaps, which look like they came straight out of the Taylor Swift publicist’s guide for “how to prove a point”, Cruz was seen dancing in the street and snogging Jackie’s face off as they wandered around Miami.

In short, Cruz wants the world and his wife to know he is very much in love, and that even the cougar wranglers at London Zoo couldn’t keep him and songwriter Jackie from each other.
As well as playing tonsil tennis and trying out their best Strictly moves, Cruz and Jackie – who is ten years his senior – held hands, bought iced coffees and stared thoughtfully into the distance as they perched on a park bench together.
All under the watchful eye of a handy photographer, who even managed to catch them saying a fond farewell at the airport.

Storm brewing over Jade track
JADE THIRLWALL rages at a partner on one of her upcoming solo tracks, but given she lives with boyfriend Jordan Stephens, an awkward chat while the kettle boils for their morning brew might be pending.
We can reveal that on one song from her debut, which is due out next year, Jade sings: “I smile and wave when we’re at this event.

Jade and Jordan, who is one half of Rizzle Kicks, have been together since 2020, and we first broke the story that they were officially an item.
Previously opening up about starting a relationship in lockdown, Jade said: “We had dates and really got to know each other. I wouldn’t say I was looking for anyone at the time.
“I ended up meeting someone in lockdown which is strange . . . I quite enjoyed doing it that way.”
I met my bloke during the pandemic too and we had our first socially distanced date in Ikea.

ED SHEERAN is one of the nicest blokes in music, so I’m not surprised he left something behind for rapper Aitch when they worked on his 2019 single Take Me Back To London.
Manchester-born Aitch said on the High Performance podcast, out this week: “He actually done something really nice when we shot the Take Me Back To London video.
“He had these really nice Louis Vuitton boots. I’d never seen them before.
“A little bit after, he came and gave me his iPad and said, ‘Put your address on there’.
“And then a couple of days after, there was a brand new Louis Vuitton box at the door and it was them boots, off Ed.
“He’s just a legend, I’ve still never wore them. – they’re up in my house right now, just chilling.”
