The world-famous hitmaker was spotted on the rehearsal lines for his upcoming film starring Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice and Sophie Monk.

He will make a cameo appearance as himself in the Australian action comedy Zombie Plane and appeared to be hard at work learning his lines before filming.

During the sighting, the Irish-born star looked noticeably different as he wore a pair of striking aviator shades while getting into character as himself.

Looking far away from his usually soft attire, he cut a vibrant figure in a bright orange and blue shell suit as he channeled ’90s fashion.

He completed his relaxed ensemble with a pair of chunky high-top sneakers as he read his lines ahead of the film’s scenes for the release.

He is currently Down Under filming the comedy film Zombie Plane, which features a whole host of celebrities as fictional versions of themselves.

It’s not his first link to Australia, as last year he appeared as a breakfast presenter on Melbourne’s new start-up network Disrupt Radio.

But can you guess who it is?

That’s right, it’s Bob Geldof!

The Boomtown Rats rocker is known for his generally friendly performances and cut a dapper figure at the Brisbane International Film Festival last weekend.

While filming Down Under, he stepped out at the premiere of The Red, in which a deadly zombie kangaroo begins to cause terror in a remote Australian town.

The film stars Aaron Pederson, Tess Haubrich and Angie Millikan and is scheduled for release on October 31.

Although Bob isn’t starring in The Red, he is currently filming his own zombie movie Down Under.

He will play a comic fictional version of himself in Zombie Plane, alongside Love Island Australia presenter Sophie Monk, American rapper Vanilla Ice and actor Chuck Norris.

In the film, passengers on a plane flying from Sydney to Los Angeles become infected with zombie viruses.

The group of celebrities must then work together in an attempt to contain the outbreak while the US Air Force attempts to shoot the plane out of the sky.

The comedy action film, which will be shot in Brisbane, is scheduled for release in 2025 and is directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier.
