39-year-old Anthony Scott Bumgarner of Granite Falls was arrested on Wednesday (October 9) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with two felony counts probation violation. Bumgarner was on probation as a result of convictions in Catawba County from April 2023 for possession of schedule two controlled substance. He was jailed under $20,000 secured bond in the Caldwell County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in Superior Court on December 2.
