GENERAL Hospital star Ron Hale has died at the age of 78.
The actor, who played Mike Corbin on the popular ABC drama series, died on August 27, according to an online obit.

Hale played the dad of the mob boss Sonny Corinthos between 1995 and 2010.
Tributes have been paid to the Emmy-nominated actor as news of his death emerged.
“The entire General Hospital Family is saddened to hear of Ron Hale’s passing,” said the show in an X post.
“We would like to extend our condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.
“He was an incredible actor and an unforgettable colleague. May he rest in peace.”
Billy Warlock, who starred in the hit show Days of Our Lives, also paid tribute to the star.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve lost another great one,” he said on X.
“Ron was an amazing talent and an even better friend. I will miss you.”
