Jessi is the owner of a Utah-based hair salon called JZ Styles, and has also launched her own styling school.

She has opened up about the impact of doing the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has had on her life.
Speaking to What to Watch, Jessi said: “I think that just any time we’re talking about religion, it’s gonna be a hot topic.
“So, I don’t think that I said anything I regret; I was just sharing my real experience, and I’m proud of that.
I think we’ve seen a lot of comments from members not being super happy… we’re trying to just take it with a grain of salt because no one’s seen the show yet.

“But I am nervous that people may take it the wrong way, especially because I’m the one on the show that’s leaving the Church.
“So, I’m a little nervous for that criticism, but other than that, I think I’m really proud of what we did.”
Jessi then talked about the reaction the show had from the Mormon church.
“I think we’ve seen a lot of comments from members not being super happy,” she told the outlet.

“There’s been a lot of videos made with opinions, and we’re trying to just take it with a grain of salt because no one’s seen the show yet.
“And we think once the show’s out, it’ll show a different light to what we’re doing.”
Going on she said: “The Church did release a statement that we’re pretty sure was kind of pointed at our show, and the statement just kind of said that we’re a gross misinterpretation of Mormons and not to take what we’re doing as Mormonism.”

Jessi is happily married to her husband Jordan Ngatikaura.
They tied the knot after her first marriage ended.
Together they have blended family of three children – Jagger, Peyton and Jovi.
Jessi has one child with her ex and one with Jordan, and he has child from his past relationship.
The social media star’s husband works for an energy company and also lists himself as an entrepreneur.

Hulu’s newest reality series, which follows a group of #MomTok influencers, was released on Sepetmber 6.

- The scandal began in 2022 after MomTok frontrunner Taylor Frankie Paul revealed she was divorcing her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
- During a TikTok livestream, Taylor shared with her followers that the divorce was prompted by his involvement in “soft swinging” among the MomTok community.
- Taylor said she and Tate agreed they wouldn’t “go all the way” with the other members.
- “The whole group was intimate with each other,” she said, adding, “Tate has made out with several girls and other things, and I’ve made out with all of the husbands and vice versa.”
- Two months after the news went viral, Taylor revealed the man she “cheated with” was her new boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
