Fears for Lee Corso as ESPN makes huge College GameDay announcement following worrying health concerns

FEARS are growing for Lee Corso after ESPN made another major announcement about College GameDay.

The 89-year-old was absent from the Saturday morning show last weekend.

Corso has been on the show since the 1980s, and a regular analyst ever since[/caption]

That led to concerns over his health, after suffering issues throughout his recent past.

He had a stroke 15 years ago and has struggled with his speech ever since.

This has led for calls for Corso to enjoy his retirement, and not travel around the US with the show.

And further fears have escalated after ESPN put out a statement about College GameDay for Week 7.

The program travels to Eugene, Oregon, for what is expected to be an action-packed show.

It comes ahead of the biggest game of the weekend, between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Oregon Ducks.

They are the number two and three ranked teams in college football.

Pat McAfee and Co are all expected to be on the panel for the highly-anticipated contest.

But the future of Corso is one thing that remains worryingly uncertain.

Every week, ESPN release a statement with details of College GameDay.

It has the location, events and background of what is happening throughout the show.

Corso has been a prominent figure on that press release throughout the start of the year.

But for the second week in a row, he is missing from it, raising concerns.

“One observation from ESPN’s GameDay email,” said one person on social networking site X.

“Lee Corso, a little bit under the weather,” said Davis.

“We expect to get him back soon.

“I know LC’s watching. Speedy recovery my friend.”

Corso has been an analyst on College GameDay since it first started on ESPN in 1987.
