THE winner of the European Championship will be crowned TONIGHT – but it will NOT be World No 1 Luke Humphries!
Humphries suffered a humiliating 4-10 loss to Dutchman Jermaine Wattimena in the quarter-final earlier on Sunday, while Gary Anderson – another player fancied to win the tournament – also suffered a quarter-final defeat, to Ritchie Edhouse.
Those two players proved to be in fine form in Dortmund with the pair meeting in the final with £120,000 on the line.
