GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — They want your blood!
East Carolina University is hosting a week-long blood drive competition in partnership with NC State University. The Blood Connection will be at both university campuses starting September 30, through October 4. This is the fourth year the universities are participating in the blood drive competition.
“Seeing students at ECU and NC State team up in friendly competition to save lives in their community is incredible,” said Delisa English, President and CEO of The Blood Connection. “Without everyday heroes donating blood and partnering with TBC, we could not give North Carolinians in the Triangle and Greenville another chance at life. These students, professors, and alumni who donate during blood bowl week deserve to make North Carolina proud.”
Anyone can donate by making an appointment with The Blood Connection. Blood donors will receive a NC blood bowl rivalry sweatshirt and $30 in TBC rewards.
