Desperate search is launched after young female CEO vanishes in Sydney amid grave concerns for her safety

A desperate police search is underway for a young woman who disappeared from inner Sydney 48 hours ago.

Dominique Nasser, 29, was last seen in Camperdown at around 12.15pm on Sunday and has not been seen or heard from since.

Two days later, police and family are concerned about her well-being.

Ms Nasser is described as appearing white, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with long brown hair and glasses.

She was last seen wearing black pants with a pink skirt, white shoes and a white bag.

Ms Nasser, who has qualifications in speech, hearing and language sciences, is the CEO and founder of the not-for-profit fashion brand For What She’s Worth, which launched last year.

Ms. Nasser also ran a successful food blog with more than 8,000 followers on Instagram.

The most recent post was six months ago, when Ms. Nasser “wanted to revive the account… after years of inconsistent activity.”

Ms Nasser told followers she was struggling.

“I just pray that this is finally the right time, especially since I’m back to eating a mostly plant-based diet,” Ms. Nasser wrote.

“I look forward to what I hope is a brand new, fresh chapter and I thank you all for sticking with it for many years to come.”

A new account shows that Ms Nasser wanted to expand the food blog into a café, but only posted once on September 27.

She also took part in the recent Run for the Hills in Sydney’s northwest.

“I’m running to raise money for the Hills District’s first ever local, raw, organic, non-hybridized fruit and vegetable cooperative (LoCo), she wrote.

A NSW Police appeal uploaded to Facebook on Tuesday evening attracted more than 300 shares within the first two hours.

Anyone with information on Ms Nasser’s whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
